Within the Canadian Music Education Research Centre, Dr. Bartel is the Coordinator of the Music Therapy and Health Special Research Interest Group.
He has also served on the Accreditation Review Board for the Canadian Association of Music Therapy, has been involved in noteworthy studies with the Centre for Health Promotion, University of Toronto, and has supervised doctoral and post-doctoral research at Bloorview Kid's Rehab, Lyndhurst Hospital, and Baycrest Hospital.
Drawing upon his many years of experience, Dr. Bartel designed the internationally best-selling Music for Your Health series from the Solitude's label, as well as Somerset Entertainment's SonicAid series. His Gold and Platinum album work has been nominated for several Juno Awards.
Today, Dr. Bartel's contributions include 16 books, multiple academic papers and publications.
We’re excited to share some updates on the BioAcoustic Mat! First off, it now features an advanced ultrasonic function that generates a total of six different sound waves simultaneously. This includes one low frequency, three mid-low frequencies, and two ultrasonic frequencies.
We’ve also made sure the software runs smoothly, with no issues to report. One handy new feature is that when you turn the controller off and back on, the Bluetooth function will automatically disable, making things easier for you.
You’ll notice an improvement in sound quality, which is now clearer than ever. Specifically, the ultrasonic waves include frequencies above 220,000 Hz and an 11th harmonic below that frequency. This setup aims to help target bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells, although we’re still learning about its exact effects on the human body.
In lab tests, the combination of 220,000 Hz and the 11th harmonic has shown promising results, particularly in enhancing immunity. Acoustic therapy is a new field, and Richway is leading the charge with extensive research and development, though this means progress can be a bit slow. While not everyone may experience the full benefits of these ultrasonic functions, some users might see significant therapeutic effects.
